What to Expect:
Why Join?
This year's theme, Rainbow Revolution, is all about celebrating progress, embracing change, igniting the spirit of unity and reflecting our mission as an organization to raise as many funds as possible for our community non-profits. We're inviting all of Houston and beyond to join us in making this event a spectacular showcase of Houston's vibrant tapestry.
About Houston New Faces of Pride
Houston’s New Faces of Pride is a 501(c)(3) non-profit committed to fostering unity, inclusivity, and empowerment within Houston's diverse LGBTQ+ community. Through fundraising initiatives and year-round events including a June Pride Parade and Festival on June 22nd in Downtown Houston, we aim to bring everyone together in amplifying and celebrating the vibrant identities that make up our city. In short, we are working to create a Pride organization that makes Houston proud.
It is our promise to the community that you will always know where the funds are going and we will always publish our 990 form online in addition to having a full list of our Board and Advisory Board on our website.
Why A New Pride?
Established in 2023, we brought together a diverse group of seasoned community leaders to address the overwhelming need for a Houston Pride organization that prioritized support for local businesses and nonprofits as well as financial transparency. Our primary goal is to deliver funds to community programs in need, ensuring a positive impact on the LGBTQ+ community with integrity and accountability. We are committed to fostering good relationships with not only community pillars like the Houston Police Department and the LGBT Chamber but also treating our partners and participants with respect. We realize the duty of a Pride organization to bring multiple intersections together to create a stronger community.
We have received overwhelming support with features on ABC13, Houston Business Journal and OutSmart Magazine among many others.
We look forward to growing our list of Festival and Parade participants and sponsors in addition to names like Phillips 66, the Human Rights Campaign and Silver Eagle.
